We are on the way north

After 2 hectic days of packing the Winnebago View motorhome we got underway from Yuma Thursday morning and stay the first night in Laughlin, NV. Karyl won about $25 and I won $4.50 after starting with a single quarter. We also tour the old car museum at the Riverside Casino. This place has the car museum, a large bowling alley, numerous restaurants and casinos all under one roof. A huge place! We spent the night in their 700+ space RV park.

We are traveling with our Yuma neighbors, Steve & Carrie Hales. They are heading for Richmond, BC but of course we will not go further than Port Orchard in their company. It looks like the itinerary will be - tonight in Bakersfield, the next night in the Redding area and the final night in Kelso before parking in our driveway on the 29th.

After we get back, Karyl and her daughter are flying to Jacksonville, Fl on April 1st to spend a couple of weeks with her siblings on the east coast of Florida. When she gets back we will be taking our first boat cruise of the year attending a boat club rendezvous at the Dock Street marina in Tacoma on the weekend of April 16th.

Hope everybody is well...

  1. Brandee and I can't believe, really can't believe, that you packed up and headed north without coming to Texas and visiting your biggest fans...

After all these years of friendship, we feel cheap and exploited. What about our plans for the west coast of Baranof Island? What about shooting squirrels off the back porch?
